Finally, this is the day I´m letting The Mirrormont Tape go! A new Lisa record was a runing gag for many years. The Mirrormont Tape is kinda my Covid record. When the world went to shit I was in the fortunate position to make my living by throwing money on stuff an answering a few mails at home. Suddenly I have discovered being alive again. Spent way more time with long walks, literature and music.

Fuck I have missed that.

The whole songwriting thing turned out to be a time travel back to the 90s. I have finished the last recording on the last day of 2022 and I am happy now to close that chapter (even though I still think of it sometimes). I don´t dare to really listen to the songs right now because I would get mad about tiny details, but I still think I like the songs, they sound the way they were supposed to sound and I will like them again in a while. I watched an interview with John Cale a few days ago and asked myself if I make music all for myself or have some kind of listerner in mind. I don´t know. But it is fun.
